The rare photograph this blog publishes of Máirín Keegan in1970, when Young Socialist’s interrupted the premiere of A State of Chassis, at Dublin’s Peacock Theatre .Keegan and McCann are holding collection boxes. I have discovered they are for Frank (Butch) Roche Defence Fund. He threw two CS gas grenades into the Public Gallery of the House Of Commons in 1970.
